YORK -- Plastic container maker Graham Packaging Co. Inc. seeks to raise $350 million through an initial public offering (IPO).
The giant New York private-equity firm Blackstone controls 81 percent of York, Pa.-based Graham Packaging, Reuters reported.
The IPO filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission did not include how many shares the company plans to sell nor at what price. The filing also did not reveal the company's intended listing symbol and stock exchange.
A $3.2 billion deal made last year that would have combined Graham Packaging and Dallas-based Hicks Acquisition Co. Inc. was terminated earlier this year.
