Vivisimo Appoints VP to Lead EMEA Expansion

David Harrower joins Vivisimo as Vice President and General Manager to Expand Penetration into the Vital Europe, Middle East and Africa region

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 3 -- Vivisimo (www.vivisimo.com), a leader in enterprise search, today announced the appointment of David Harrower as Vice President and General Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

A veteran of more than 15 years of International business and communication experience, Harrower will be responsible for developing business strategy, growing the existing customer base and building new alliance partnerships to support Vivisimo's expansion into EMEA.

Prior to joining Vivisimo, Harrower was a Regional Vice President of iDirect Technologies where he grew the business unit 40% with revenues of $32M and opened up new markets, such as in Russia and Kazakhstan where iDirect had little or no presence.

Before joining iDirect, Harrower oversaw the International Client Service and Business Development at Brodeur Worldwide. He also has corporate communications experience with significant roles with Fitzgerald Communications, Fleishman-Hillard and Hill & Knowlton.
