DMW Worldwide Receives National Health Information Awards Honors

WAYNE, Pa. - November 2, 2009 - Warren Hunter, Chairman and CEO of DMW Worldwide LLC (http://www.dmwdirect.com), announced that the agency and two Blue Cross Blue Shield clients recently received National Health Information Awards honors in the "Consumer Decision-Making Information" class, "Insurance Company" division.

A Bronze award was received for the DMW-developed "Medicare Resource Guide Mailing," entered into the "Direct Mail" category. In response to focus group research and the results of numerous industry studies, DMW created a Medicare Resource Guide to help educate consumers "aging in" to Medicare about the program's benefits. The multi-page booklet is mailed to prospects several months prior to their 65th birthday. The Guide provides detailed information about how Medicare works, its various parts, what it covers, what it doesn't cover, eligibility, enrollment, coverage options, and more. The Blue's plan's all-product brochure is enclosed with the Guide to offer a snapshot of the Medicare products available. The combination provides new Medicare-eligibles with invaluable information and coverage options.

DMW also was honored with a Merit award for its "LTC Blue Feel Good" brochure, entered into the "Booklet/Brochure/Pamphlet" category. This piece was developed to mail to qualified prospects who respond to a direct mail lead generation package for long-term care insurance. The key message: LTC Blue provides individuals with the benefits they need - eliminating those they don't need - by delivering simple, flexible, and affordable options from a name they can trust.

The National Health Information Awards program, the most comprehensive of its kind, recognizes the best consumer health information materials and programs from organizations throughout the nation. Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit certificates are awarded by class, division, and category using a rating scale of 1 to 100. A panel of health information experts from across the nation judge entries based on content, format, success in reaching the targeted audience, and overall quality.
