Colliers Lanard & Axilbund Facilitates Acquisition of 5.3 Acre Land Parcel

Chalfont, PA [September 2, 2009] - Colliers Lanard & Axilbund (CL&A) represented Orthopaedic Specialty Center (OSC) in the purchase of a 5.3 acre parcel in New Britain Corporate Center, Chalfont, PA from BPG Properties, Ltd.

OSC plans to develop the site for a 33,000 SF state-of-the-art orthopedic surgical, rehab and imaging facility offering sub-specialty care in joint, spine, hand, sports, and trauma. The New Britain location is strategically located between Doylestown and North Penn Hospitals and will be operated in addition to OSC's existing Willow Grove location. Construction on the new outpatient center at New Britain Corporate Center is anticipated to begin in October with a planned opening in mid-2010.

CL&A Vice President Matthew Shanahan, exclusively represented the buyer, Orthopedic Specialty Center in this transaction. John Shelly of Cushman Wakefield negotiated the sale on behalf of the owner.
