PITTSBURGH -- Medallion Analytics Software Corp., whose product aims to digitize the mortgage lending process, raised $1 million of a targeted $1.5 million in equity financing.

The Pittsburgh company had raised nearly $1.5 million in a series of offerings earlier this year and in 2010.

Named in the current SEC filing were CEO Joel M. Davidson, and directors Bradley J. Franc, attorney at Houston Harbaugh; Pritam Advani, of Pittsburgh-based Professional Closing Network; Eric Arnson and Michael Gausling, of Bethlehem, Pa.-based Originate Ventures; and Joseph Murin, of the Washington, D.C.-based Collingwood Group.

Davidson is the former CEO of NextAction, before which he spent nearly 9 years at AOL running Compuserve, Netscape, Mapquest, Wal-mart's ISP business, AOL Instant Messenger, and ICQ. He also spent 12 years in executive management and senior marketing positions with Rogers Cablesystems, H. J. Heinz, and Campbell Soup Company. He began his career in Strategic Consulting at Bain and Company.

Murin co-founded The Collingwood Group in 2009, after serving as President of Ginnie Mae. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Lender Services, Inc., as well as Chief Executive Officer for Basis100, a Toronto-based technology company. Earlier he was President of Century Mortgage Company.

Medallion Analytics has developed a platform to digitize, simplify and expedite the mortgage lending process by integrating lenders, borrowers and other parties into one system.
