WAYNE, Pa -- Antenna provider Skycross Inc. raised $10.7 million of a targeted $15 million in an equity offering.
Named in the related SEC filing are CEO and Chairman , CFO Katy Henry; and directors Amdad Bastani of B2 Global Consulting, LLC, Basking Ridge, N.J.; Anthony Chang of TL Ventures, Wayne, Pa.; Scott Chou of Gabriel Venture Partners, Redwood Shores, Calif.; Albert Kim of Investor Growth Capital, Menlo Park, Calif.; and Donald Martin of Investment Partners of Orlando.
Prior to joining SkyCross in November 2010, Naskar was a corporate officer, vice president, and general manager of the Wireless Networking Business Unit at Atheros Communications. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager of the Communications Group at PMC-Sierra. For more than eight years, he was the China-based vice president and managing director of Asia at Analog Devices. He also headed a successful startup as CEO and president of Magfusion, a provider of RF MEMS devices, and has led M&A transactions valued at several hundred million dollars. Earlier, Naskar held senior management positions at National Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices.
SkyCross designs and manufactures antenna solutions for the mobile phone, home entertainment, and computing industries. Based in Viera, Fla., the company has facilities in South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan.

Katy Henry
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Henry has over 15 years of senior level finance and operations experience covering mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and corporate finance with high growth start-ups and large high-tech companies. Prior to joining SkyCross, she served as corporate controller and treasurer of AuthenTec, Inc., a semiconductor company focused on biometric fingerprint solutions for handheld and personal computing markets, where she was instrumental in the successful completion of its initial public offering in June 2007. Ms. Henry created and led Intersil Corporation's worldwide outsourced manufacturing organization in which she developed key strategic partnerships which contributed significant cost savings to the company. In addition, she held various business unit controller positions where she targeted and led several M&A related activities and supported its highly successful IPO in 2000. She held various financial positions with Harris Corporation in which she led turnaround activities on three major government contracts. Ms. Henry earned a B.S. in Accounting from Rollins College.

Bami Bastani , an experienced leader with extensive knowledge of the communications device sector, joined the SkyCross Board of Directors in February 2011. He has broad familiarity with the customers and international markets that SkyCross serves. From 1998 to 2008, Dr. Bastani was President and CEO of ANADIGICS, Inc., a recognized innovator in semiconductor RF solutions for the wireless and broadband communications equipment markets. From 1996-1998, he was Executive Vice President of Fujitsu Microelectronics, where he led multiple business units responsible for developing semiconductor products for the U.S. market. Earlier he served more than a decade with National Semiconductor, where he held key executive positions including Vice President and General Manager of the Embedded Technologies Division. Dr. Bastani received his Ph.D. and MSEE degrees in Microelectronics from The Ohio State University. He completed an Executive Mini-MBA at Stanford University and earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas School of Engineering.

Anthony Chang joined TL Ventures in 2002 as the firm's first Kauffman Fellow. Chang's venture experience began in 1998, when he co-founded and built Magictel.com, Inc., one of the first voice-over-IP service providers in Greater China and Southeast Asia. The company conducted a reverse takeover of a publicly listed company in Hong Kong and raised over US $100 million in secondary offerings. Chang subsequently joined GE Equity in Hong Kong where he focused on early-stage venture opportunities in Asia. He was also part of the private equity team at Peregrine Investment Holdings (one of Asia's largest investment banks during the 1990s) where he handled technology and communications-related investments. Chang began his career at the San Francisco Consulting Group, a strategic consulting firm focused on the communications industry. He also worked briefly in Lucent's Mobility Solutions Group. Chang holds a BA with Honors from Stanford University and an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Scott Chou

Scott Chou has a broad base of experience in venture capital, technology, and startup operations. He is currently a general partner for Gabriel Venture Partners where he focuses on disruptive technologies. Chou entered the venture capital arena via the Kauffman Fellows Program, completed his fellowship at CID Equity Partners, and went on to Silicon Valley where he joined Onset Ventures before joining Gabriel. Working for more than five more technology ventures in addition to world-renowned research and development organizations, Chou conducted pioneering research in broadband packet switching for the Internet, enterprise storage systems, and handheld computing. Chou has personally designed five microchips and nearly two dozen electronic boards that have been manufactured for commercial use. He earned a master's degree in engineering from Stanford University as well as a master's in computer science from Harvard University. Chou received his bachelor's in electrical engineering with Honors from California Institute of Technology.

Dr. Albert Kim joined Investor Growth Capital's New York office in 2001 and has been part of the Menlo Park office since 2005. Dr. Kim's prior professional experience includes summer associateships at McKinsey & Co and Goldman Sachs. Dr. Kim received his Ph.D. in applied physics from Harvard University. At IGC, Dr. Kim focuses on investments in communications technologies, clean technologies, and hardware. Dr. Kim currently serves on the Board of Directors of Paratek, ReCellular, SkyCross, and is also a Board observer at Magnum Semiconductor.
